Teaching C.V
In 2006/7 i completed Level 2 Certificate in Professional Studies of Online Music Enterprise, in In 2007/2008 i gained 5 distinctions in the excellent Access to Music Level 3 Music Educator Course, and in 2008 i’m currently working with Andrew Dubber from U.C.E in the Transfer of Knowledge Fellowship Level 4 in Online Music Enterprise.
I also possess 10 G.C.S.E’s, 2 A-levels and a qualification in web design. Since then i’ve self taught to a much higher level in many areas, and have successfully passed on that information in a range of settings.
Work wise i ran the New Deal for Musicians programme, where i offered one to one music tech and event management workshops, and i have had various clients since then, but on a more skill swap basis. Since gaining my music educator course, i am now looking to setup as a dj and music tech teacher, alongside hosting cross artform workshops.
I have some experience in this but have never asked for payment, as i believe in making it accessible and they clients in question had the desire to learn, but no money. Having developed strong communication skills through my other projects, an ability to teach through my new deal for musicians role and recent Music Educator Course, and with various shadowing experiences in a range of workshop settings through Dramask & Bridge arts & Music, alongside my 13 years of music, studio and djing experience, I am looking to deliver collaborative and cross artform workshops in order to facilitate people of all ages and abilities in learning and using music technology creatively, to enable them to explore the use of sound, and create soundtracks alongside various artforms through music technologies.
