In 2006/7 i completed Level 2 Certificate in Professional Studies of Online Music Enterprise, in In 2007/2008 i gained 5 distinctions in the excellent Access to Music Level 3 Music Educator Course, in 2008/9 i completed the Transfer of Knowledge Fellowship Level 4 in Online Music Enterprise with Andrew Dubber from U.C.E, and also completed an Events Management course led by John Mosty.
I possess 10 G.C.S.E’s, 2 A-levels and a qualification in web design, and am self taught to a pretty high level in many areas, including music production, event management, djing, video making, promotion, web design, and workshops.
Work wise i ran the New Deal for Musicians programme, where i offered one to one music tech and event management workshops, and i have had various clients since then, especially in music production and djing. I have also ran community workshops with various groups, including, special needs, primary, and young adults. I have ran workshops primarily using my music technology alongside film and drama, but also using dj technologies, and various methods of engagement in order to enable participants of all abilities to produce high quality results regardless of ability. I have also ran dj and music workshops in community settings with a range of ages and abilities.
I am looking to deliver collaborative and cross artform workshops in order to facilitate people of all ages and abilities in learning and using music technology creatively, to enable them to explore the use of sound, and create soundtracks alongside various artforms through music technologies.

Dj wise i am fluent in all aspects of djing techniques and technologies, and have a strong interest in developing new ways and methods of artistic collaboration. Have djed with string orchestras, performers, and visual artists, Have created various narratives alongside dancers, musicians and visuals artists, and have much experiences playing a wide range of musical genres to a mutlitude of audiences, and how to mix those genres, from underground dance music such as breaks, techno and drum and bass, through to balkan and swing, through to rock, indie, through to downtempo & chillout, etc, etc.
Music wise, i am also very experienced, and have instrument, production, and composition skills, and have created, collaborated and produced many genres of music with a host of talented people.
My music experience is wide and varied, with over 14 years of experience in music tech and live instrument scenarios, and with broad cross section of compositions and collaborations. I am fluent in many software based studio environments, and have a good understanding of Cubase, Ableton, Reason, Wavelab, and various other software, vst instruments and plug ins. I find it easy to pick up and learn new applications, and have a confident range of basic teaching experience, through my one to one workshops at New Deal For Musicians, my music educator course, and in my home studios. I enjoy making both live and electronic/dance music, and have a fairly broad understanding of arrangement, composition, recording and production of many genres, Aside from working on my own and with various musicians in my own home studio, I have also played in bands, and have basic keyboard, guitar, bass, percussion and vocal experience. I also use binaurul microphones for location recording and am interested in using what i do to inspire and collaborate with others.

1994 – 2008 – I’ve been composing and producing music in various studios since 1998, utilising various studio setup, and collaborating with a range of producers and musicians.

Design/ Publicity
Through my events and online promotion i have learnt how to use photoshop to design flyers, cd covers, posters and images, and through the capture of the events, have learnt how to record, edit and produce video, photo and audio. I have created promo videos on a few platforms for our Rockfall and Mr Elephant events alongside my own djing, and coupled with my promotion and online experience have learnt how to effectively use and promote the captured footage.
I have also been commissioned to produce flyers and cd covers for local arts organisations such as Bridge Arts and Music and Dramask and for have helped produce organisation publicity too.
Computer skills
I have been using computers for most of my life, and have a wide range of knowledge and experience both on and offline. I have learnt how to assemble a pc from scratch and am fluent with windows and many hardware and software issues. I have a wide and varied knowledge of music software and hardware, and a useful knowledge of visual software, and web design. I also have a keen interest in how the internet for all the above, and regularly keep up to date with various new online and offline technologies.
