Back from another great weekend this time featuring two rather unusual happenings.

Immersed in learning sound design in the studio this week so not much to tweet of though end of summer bought many good memories w/ a few notable highlights being playing kamikaze tent at Shambala, meeting/hearing Billy Bragg at Moseley Folk & all the music & dj workshops in uk

After yesterday’s workshop i got the chance to visit Moseley Folk Festival and did some filming for Dramask, saw some great stuff and caught some nice footage which i’ve posted below…

Just returned from a great weekend starting with an impromtu 11 hour dj gig / workshop with one half of Blend Av at the inspiring Northamptonshire based arts centre – The Corby Cube…

Back from a magnificent time at Shambala and a really memorable set djing the Kamikaze tent!

Shambalas always been one of my favourite festivals largely because of the vibe there and this year was no exception, despite the onslaught of torrential rain on friday. We arrived on Saturday afternoon so aside from a few downpours we only had the remaining mud to deal with, but none of this had any effect on the vibe and feel of the festival.

Following last years successful playscheme we (Dramask‘s drama workshops & my Reckorder music technology workshops) were asked back to do another one this year, this time focusing not on space but on the seaside.

Similar to last year, Dramask ran the drama and i ran the music side, working alongside the excellent staff at Kings Heath Playcare.

Thanks to a very kind offer we got to get away for a week in Sunny Borth \o/ We returned to the place we stayed last year – northfield caravan park – which is a very well run, friendly, and cost effective place for anyone on a budget.

Back to the projects after a long weekend at a v special wedding. So good reconnecting w/ close friends & even a free hotel into the mix! <3 #
