Started to take a few dj bookings recently 2 of which i’m really looking forward to.

The first is another NYE at PST organised by the lovely people at Jibbering in association with a load of my favourite Birmingham promoters and djs. Last years was off the hook and this year the line is the same – plus a load more on top! Advance tickets are only a fiver again from here and it has no closing time!

Off to Corby again this weekend for my second film shoot and a real nice dj gig at the other big date in the Core at Corby Cubes calender – The youth arts Slam!

Not to be confused with the wrestling tournament of the same name, the Slam is a kind of big, end of project showcase featuring performances from all of the long running workshops and courses they’ve had. This one was totally sold out and full of quality performances of all ages.

Back from another great weekend this time featuring two rather unusual happenings.

Just returned from a great weekend starting with an impromtu 11 hour dj gig / workshop with one half of Blend Av at the inspiring Northamptonshire based arts centre – The Corby Cube…

Back from a magnificent time at Shambala and a really memorable set djing the Kamikaze tent!

Shambalas always been one of my favourite festivals largely because of the vibe there and this year was no exception, despite the onslaught of torrential rain on friday. We arrived on Saturday afternoon so aside from a few downpours we only had the remaining mud to deal with, but none of this had any effect on the vibe and feel of the festival.

Writing retrospectively i guess there’s been a fair period of change these last couple of months following some unexpected turns, and some re-evaulation which led to some difficult choices..
