The night before X-mas

And it really does feel like it!

A megaphone for a megashow

After a couple more rehearsals in the studio, i got down to the rainbow warehouse about 6pm for my soundcheck. Everyone was hard at work on their different sections, with sets being painted, lights being programmed, stages being dressed, visuals being edited, performance being refined, sound being checked and perfected, and the ever imperative marketing and show co-ordination being managed with seemlingly a lot more flow than last year. There was a lot more going on than that, but instead of listing them, here’s a few pictures, (though my camera ran out of charge quite quickly).
justin on the 48 channels!Today i’ve got time for one more practise session, before leaving for our dress rehearsal. I can’t wait to see how the venue will have been transformed from last night, and am as excited as everyone else about experiencing the full show for the first time.

I have such a mixture of emotions today, but i’m pretty confident that this dj set will be the best set i’ve ever done, and this event, the most exciting i’ve ever been part of…. I will let you know tomorrow afternoon! :)
