I recently got myself a Canon 600d in order to take my filming and photography ambitions to the next level. The first outing was to get some good footage of my gig at Shambala Festival, but ive also been looking at filming events, and this weekend was my first commission with the new camera.

Party Rockin Mammal Sessions is back with another free party …

Last Saturday the Hare and Hounds saw one hell of a party! The place was buzzing all night long, the venue was rammed, the vibes were great and the tunes were massive : )

After kicking off to a great start with Quantic back in June, Cinephonic well and truly settled into its groove with it’s second outing this month. It was a monster weekend with the Mr Elephant team also ramming the bull’s head the night before with a funk flavoured Party Rockin Mammal Session. A little sleep later and we’re back again at the Hare and Hounds for a very different animal….

Our 2nd Inter-mix will feature not one but two Birmingham based promoters and their residents who bring international music to the city. The mighty reggae collective Jam Jah & legendary tropical dance music selectors Moseley Tropical.

Saturday just gone i got the opportunity to warm up for the Ez Rollers along with Dj reaction and Funkbox. Was a real cool gig, and a nice launch party for the Get Em Events strand of the Night Times…

Every last thursday of the month, me and Vj Blendstate get to play in the lovely back bar of the Hare & Hounds. He plays visuals and i play music, and its a nice environment to play the more downtempo side to the collection….

Last night was an exceptional display of great musicianship, and talented performers. Legends in their own right, and with an ever evolving line up. Transglobal still rock the house like they did 13 years ago!
